For Children – Emmanuel’s Sunday School offers classes for those age 3 through elementary school from September until June. Children begin each Sunday in Church at 10:00 AM with their families and then go to their classes about 20 minutes into the service. Classes end at about 11:15 at which time the children rejoin their families for refreshment and fellowship. Their courses makes use of one of the standard curricula published for children of the Episcopal Church.
Rector’s Thursday Morning Bible Study at 10:30 am in the Upper Parish meets regularly. We are currently studying the Book of Acts.
For Adults – An informal discussion group for adults meets each Sunday at 9:00 AM for coffee and (usually) a look at topics from the devotional series Forward Day By Day.
Vacation Bible School – One week during the summer, Emmanuel offers mornings devoted to the study of a Bible story, along with arts and crafts, music and dance, and recreation. Children from the community and friends are always welcome. A snack is served mid-morning, and we have a Pageant and Picnic at Noon on the last day. There is no charge for our Bible School.
